You’ll have to pour yourself a fresh cup of coffee for this one. Troy and Melissa’s story is insane, it’s a story that just has to be told and cannot be told quickly. This will take a while.
For Lindsay and Troy’s engagement portraits we headed out of Lethbridge to Lindsay’s parent’s farm. Driving across their land and down into the coulees was awesome, I am totally jealous, I mean, just so much land to play on and the river valley looks like it’s out of Jurassic Park...

Man, we set out with Amanda and Mitch one evening about a month ago and seriously, we were rafting on a river of rad for about three hours...
On a beautiful Saturday morning, a couple weeks ago, we headed North to a little town called Stettler. It felt like Spring had finally arrived and we were thrilled to spend the day outside with Chelsey and Cody, a couple engaged to be married this Summer. It was such a refreshing day, warming the bones and making us feel like winter was finally on its way out. Man, were we fooled.

So, today’s post is about a wedding I did in Saskatoon back in December of oh eight. I was so happy to fly into the swirling cold winter of Saskatchewan because waiting there with my luggage was my great friend Nathan. It is so great to have some personal and meaningful portraits of us and it’s even more special to us because of who took them. We have talked a lot lately about Ryan and Kelly Portnoy and we do so with great and exciting reason. Our second time in Canmore and the second time the weather dropped in on us, covered the spectacular mountains, and rained a sad grey rain. But despite the rain, Alissia and Travis kept on...
